TAMPA – Tampa police say they’ve captured 15-year-old Jahmir Moore after he escaped this morning from the Hillsborough Regional Juvenile Detention Heart.
Moore was initially arrested on Wednesday in connection to the demise of 14-year-old Jevario Buie, in response to police.

Moore was arrested with out incident shortly after 9:15 on Sunday night time after being on the run since mid-morning. Â Tampa Police say he was taken again into custody on the 100 block of West Keyes Avenue with the help of the US Marshals Job Drive.
Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw mentioned “Tonight, the household of Jevario Buie and our neighborhood can relaxation realizing a harmful particular person is again in custody. Â I’m extremely appreciative of the officers who labored tirelessly since this morning after they had been alerted of Moore’s escape. Â Let this be a reminder to those that assume they will evade Tampa Police, they can not, and they are going to be held accountable.”
Moore was being held on the Hillsborough Regional Juvenile Detention Heart within the custody of the Florida Division of Juvenile Justice. Â
