VENICE, Fla. – A person was shot and killed after pointing his gun at Sarasota County deputies Wednesday morning within the 200 block of Golf Course Drive in Venice.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Workplace recognized the person killed within the deputy-involved capturing as Anthony Bottoni, 32.

SCSO stated its fugitive apprehension unit was serving a search warrant simply earlier than 11 a.m. After they arrived on the residence, deputies stated the person was inside, and he was given verbal instructions to exit.
