A Polk County lady is accused of attacking a person with a backyard hoe after the 2 had been planning to “hang around” earlier within the night.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Workplace says that 47-year-old Melanie Davis was sad that the sufferer canceled plans, so she went to his Frostproof house round 3 a.m. on Tuesday and yelled at him from outdoors.

Investigators say she then climbed the fence to his property and pushed via his door and began punching him.

That is when she allegedly grabbed a backyard hoe and commenced hitting him with it, inflicting a severe laceration to his arm.

The sufferer was taken to the hospital and handled. Davis was taken to Polk County Jail.
