SARASOTA, Fla. – A lady was arrested on Monday within the Sarasota hit-and-run crash that killed a 2-year-old and 5-month-old and left their mom with crucial accidents.
The backstory:
The Sarasota Police Division mentioned June Fenton was arrested on fees associated to the crash, which occurred at round 8:30 p.m. on February 10 alongside North Washington Boulevard close to seventh Road.

Investigators mentioned a Lexus automobile hit a 2-year-old being pushed in a stroller and a 5-month-old being carried by their 29-year-old mom. Each youngsters died within the crash and the mom was despatched to the hospital with crucial accidents.
The motive force of the Lexus drove off after the crash, failing to render support or contact 911, Sarasota police mentioned.

SPD’s site visitors murder investigators, intelligence unit and real-time operations heart investigated the case and located the automobile and driver. The automobile was recovered, and a search warrant was executed to substantiate that proof collected on the crash web site matched the automobile.
Police mentioned Fenton absolutely cooperated with their investigation.

Fenton was arrested on two counts of leaving the scene of a crash that resulted in a fatality and one depend of leaving the scene of a crash that resulted in severe harm. She was taken to the Sarasota County Jail and stays in custody.
