CLEARWATER, Fla. – The St. Pete-Clearwater Worldwide Airport has resumed regular operations and there are not any security issues presently after a written bomb risk on an Allegiant flight on Friday, in line with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Workplace.
The scene was cleared on Friday evening and investigators say they haven’t recognized a suspect but.
As a flight heading to Cincinnati was taxiing to the runway, getting ready for its departure, a flight attendant onboard opened the airplane’s rear toilet door and located a written bomb risk.
About 170 passengers have been evacuated and, because the risk wasn’t restricted to the actual airplane, all Allegiant planes on the airport needed to be evacuated as nicely.
Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri mentioned detectives are interviewing passengers that have been on the airplane with the written risk.
