LAKELAND, Fla. – One in all two males accused of stealing a pair of swans and their eggs from a Polk County cellular house group has been arrested, the sheriff’s workplace introduced.
Deputies mentioned Alfredo Casanova turned himself in early Wednesday and was booked into the Polk County Jail.

Beloved swans stolen
The backstory:
The swans, named “Sterling” and “Luna,” have been taken from the Highland Village Cell House Park on West Brannen Street, the place neighbors say they’ve lived for years.
They have been discovered earlier this week in Cutler Bay, which is a city in Miami-Dade County.

PCSO mentioned Casanova and Jordan Montoya got here onto the caregiver’s property with nets and a bucket final Wednesday evening and snatched the swans and their eggs proper out of their nesting field.

On Monday, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned the stolen swans and eggs might be returned to the cellular house park.

Suspect search
What’s subsequent:
Casanova is within the Polk County Jail on costs of felony housebreaking and grand theft.
Detectives are nonetheless trying to find Montoya.
